BrightPlex app for iPhone and iPad

This is a free consumer app for Sophatar®s patented solution for proximity-based interactive digital signage. This app allows anyone to use their mobile phone as a remote control when within viewing range of a digital signage display that is driven by a BrightSign® Series-3 media player. No connection to a local Wi-Fi network needed!

For businesses or brands, now your customers can use their own phone to select from the content you have made available for playback on each of your digital signage screens. As customers move around your location(s) and come within viewing range of a Sophatar-powered digital signage screen, this app shows thumbnails of the content you have setup for that screen via your business account on the Sophatar Web Console.
Customers can then tap the content they want to see in the app, and it auto-magically plays on the digital signage display theyre in front of.

Sophatar signage brings not only higher customer engagement to your business or brand, but also powerful usage and traffic analytics.

The app enables 2-way communication between your BrightSign Series-3 media players and your customers cellphones when they are nearby. Best of all, it does NOT require the media player to be network-connected, so the service can be easily added to virtually any existing installation with only an inexpensive beacon upgrade of the media player, and a subscription to the Sophatar service!
